forest publications - september 2010

I’ve volunteered to help the awesome Forest Publications with some editorial, production and marketing work. ForPub produce stunning chapbooks and poetry/music collaborations from their base at the Forest Cafe in Edinburgh - a truly captivating venue. I wish there were more places like the Forest. Buy their chapbooks (poetry and short fiction), as they are cheap and wonderful.

away from the city - march 2010

Away from the city is an exploration of the relationship between poetry, photography and place.

Exhibited in the Ruskin Gallery, Cambridge, in March 2010, viewers were encouraged to navigate the display of photographs and poems, set in both Melbourne and Cambridge. This shared experience of poetry is something I believe everyone should have access to. Look out for similar projects in the future.
